Co-organized by the HKSAR Government's "Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy" – Safeguarding humanity with standards and composing a new chapter for the low-altitude economy.
While the whole city is discussing the trillion-dollar potential of the "low-altitude economy," we see not only the commercial value of the sky, but also the responsibility to drive society forward. Coinciding with the 70th Anniversary of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), the university will host the "Intelligent Altitudes: HKBU Low-Altitude Economy Summit 2026" on February 27, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). We are honored to announce that this summit is officially co-organized by the "Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy" of the HKSAR Government, with HKT joining as the official 5G Partner.
This is more than just a summit; it is a strategic runway where policy, technology, capital, and talent officially take flight. We firmly believe: the ultimate purpose of technology is humanity, and the cornerstone of humanity is safety. We cordially invite you to attend this historically and strategically significant event, and witness together how Hong Kong is using the most rigorous "standards" to safeguard the most tender "humanistic care" in the skies.
A Historic Convergence: Forging Alliances to Drive the Industry Forward
The summit will feature a highly anticipated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony, marking a new era of cross-sector collaboration across industry, academia, and research:
Regional Talent Collaboration: HKBU and the Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude Economy Alliance will officially establish a strategic partnership. Through comprehensive internship and knowledge exchange programs, we will nurture future leaders of the low-altitude economy, injecting new momentum into the GBA.
Industrial Integration & Innovation: HKBU and X Social Group will launch a deep collaboration focused on the "HKSAR Low-Altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox Project." This partnership will focus on developing the "Drone Take-off Reliability Index" (DTORI) and promoting the ARTOPIA corporate social responsibility project to empower society through technology.

Four Core Highlights of the Summit
1. Top-Level Strategy: From Sandbox Testing to GBA Integration The low-altitude economy is leaving behind the era of "depending on the weather." This forum will gather government decision-makers and tech giants to deeply analyze how Hong Kong can build a world-class hub. We will explore how to incorporate quantified risk indices like DTORI into industry standards, leading safety regulations and new investment trends across the Greater Bay Area.
2. Cross-Sector Panel: The Skyline as a Mega Events Stage Once absolute safety is guaranteed, how do we transform the Victoria Harbour night sky into a narrative space with maximum cultural impact? Industry leaders will explore the future of Art-Tech, deconstructing how drone technology will completely revolutionize the "Mega Events Economy" and urban tourism experiences.
3. Tech for Good: The ARTOPIA Case Study The true value of technology lies in connecting human hearts. The summit will share the touching practices of the ARTOPIA charity project - demonstrating how we use drones to turn the dreams drawn by sick children into a starry sky over Victoria Harbour. Witness how technology reveals its warmest side when "rigorous standards" meet "humanistic care."
4. The Grand Finale: "Symphony of Light" Victoria Harbour Drone Show A perfect dance of "technology" and "art." Above Victoria Harbour, we will personally witness the infinite possibilities safeguarded by DTORI. This spectacular drone light show will be accompanied by music from the HKBU Orchestra, drawing a moving conclusion to the summit.
