From the dazzling night sky of Victoria Harbour to the historic streets of Brussels, a cross-continental "Dialogue of Light and Shadow" is unfolding. Recently, the global XR sector witnessed a historic moment - UnitedXR, jointly organized by industry giants AWE and Stereopsia, was held grandly in Europe. At this global summit exploring the immersive future, X Social Group, representing the Hong Kong industry, brought not only cutting-edge drone technology but also a "Low-Altitude Economy" solution unique to Hong Kong. We proved to the world that Hong Kong's power of innovation lies not only in finance but also in "Art Tech" that touches the human heart.

1. Defining the Future: Writing the "Low-Altitude Economy" into International Standards

"Low-Altitude Economy" has been a global buzzword in recent years. However, how do we transform impersonal drone hardware into a sustainable economic model with cultural value? Nominated by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), and the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA) to showcase Hong Kong's Art Tech strength through "Drone Shows," X Social Group traveled to Europe with a mission: to "Standardize" and "Internationalize" the Hong Kong experience. At the forum, the team demonstrated how to utilize precise drone formation technology to transform the sky into an "Urban Aerial Canvas." This was not merely a display of technology, but a redefinition of urban space utilization—making the low-altitude domain a new medium for telling city stories.

2. Driving Hong Kong Creativity to "Go Global"

This trip to Europe marks the deep integration of Hong Kong's I&T (Innovation and Technology) and cultural and creative industries with the international market. The presence and support of Ms. Shirley Yung, Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union, injected a vital impetus into this venture. With her active assistance, Hong Kong's Art Tech solutions were able to accelerate connections with the European market, exploring new opportunities to integrate drone performances with local historical landmarks and tourism scenarios. We also extend our special thanks to Mr. Drew Lai, Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIDA), for his trust and emphasis on expanding drone performances overseas. This further confirms the government's determination to "Tell Good Stories of Hong Kong": aiming to expand Hong Kong's light and shadow art abroad, letting the world see that Hong Kong is not only an international financial center but also a fertile ground for nurturing top-tier creativity.

3. Tech for Good: Seeing the Warmth of Technology through "Starry Dreams"

Where do the boundaries of technology lie? X Social Group believes the ultimate goal of technology should be to "comfort the heart." On the UnitedXR stage, what moved international experts the most was the "Children's Starry Dreams" (Tong Meng Xing Yuan) project. This was not just a performance, but a practice of "Tech for Good." The team shared how they used drones to light up dreams for children, proving that high-tech products are not always cold and alienating.

Telling Hong Kong Stories in European Skies

This journey to UnitedXR is a small step for X Social Group, but a giant leap for Hong Kong's low-altitude economy as it heads into the world. From flying over Victoria Harbour to Brussels, we brought more than just hardware; we brought a complete, warm narrative solution. We are reshaping urban space with light and shadow, connecting hearts with technology, and look forward to writing the "Hong Kong Experience" into the chapters of international industry standards through our exchanges with global experts.
