On the evening of January 9, 2026, the night sky over Victoria Harbour was illuminated by a unique kind of starlight. Jointly organized by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and X Social Group Ltd, and presented in collaboration with the beneficiary organization Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong (RMHC HK), the "ARTOPIA Charity Drone Show" was successfully held. This was not merely a feast of technology, but a moving journey of miracles concerning "companionship" and "dreams coming true."

🖍️ The Origin: "Little Painters" and "Big Brothers & Sisters" Under Warm Yellow Lights
The story began not in front of cold computer screens, but beside the open kitchen filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals at Ronald McDonald House. Seventy student ambassadors from HKBU stepped into the lives of these battling children.
Here, the students noticed the thoughtful rounded corners on the bookshelves, designed so children could run safely; they also saw the peepholes installed at a low height on the doors, serving as windows for the children to observe the world. Embraced by this warmth, the students set aside their phones and picked up crayons, becoming creative partners to the children.

Hao (pseudonym), a 13-year-old boy who loves singing and never flinches during treatment, drew two simple yet sincere hearts. He said, "I want to share love with everyone."
Some children, once unable to run due to bone conditions, sprinted joyfully around the room that day. This led HKBU student Kwok (pseudonym) to remark, "This seemingly simple act of running is, for him, a hard-won miracle."
Some children drew their beloved penguins, hoping to play happily in the snow just like them.
Others drew magical flying dragons, entrusting them with the courage to defeat their illnesses。

As participating HKBU student Yiu (pseudonym) said, "Companionship doesn't need to be loud; listening can be very gentle. A sheet of white paper and a box of colors are enough to bring us closer together."
🌌 When Dreams Take Flight: Look, We Are Together!
On the night of January 9, these drawings, bearing the weight of hope, transformed into dancing drone lights filling the sky.
When the words "Have You Ever Imagined?" appeared in the night sky, followed by a curled-up youth slowly stretching out in the light and shadow—ultimately transforming into a soaring bird and a dazzling giant dragon—countless spectators were moved.
That pixel-art penguin full of childlike wonder, the fruit family holding hands and dancing, and the pair of angel wings symbolizing guardianship were all loudly telling every child in a hospital bed:

"Your creations are cherished by this world. Your strength is greater than you imagine. Your existence is a precious part of this world."
❤️ The Warmth of Technology, The Legacy of Love
X Social Group was honored to utilize drone technology to build this bridge connecting the public with the hearts of these sick children. We were not just performing; we were conveying a belief: On the road to fighting illness, no one needs to fight alone.

Thank you to every little artist who participated in the creation—your courage lit up Victoria Harbour; Thank you to every HKBU student for your dedicated companionship—you gave technology its warmth; Thank you to every donor for your support—you allowed this love to continue.
May the starlight of this night remain in our hearts forever.
