Technology Created to Warm Hearts
On January 9, 2026, the night sky over Victoria Harbour was given a profound new meaning. 1,000 drones transformed into fluid paintbrushes, meticulously projecting the dreams and heartfelt wishes of children battling illnesses onto the shimmering starlight. This was more than a visual feast; it was a cross-disciplinary milestone that integrated the creativity of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) faculty and students with social compassion and cutting-edge technology.
As a co-organizer and technical partner, X Social Group and Damoda are deeply honored to have participated in this initiative. In the HKBU team, we witnessed more than just academic and creative prowess; we saw a sincere commitment to giving back to society through technology.
Defining the Future: What is ARTOPIA?
This event serves as the ultimate demonstration of the "ARTOPIA" philosophy—a best-practice model for ESG principles and Intellectual Property (IP).
Traditionally, technology and art have often operated in silos. ARTOPIA, however, represents an entirely new format: "ArtTech × Low-Altitude Economy × Social Responsibility." We have transformed the low-altitude economy into a vehicle for social care, ensuring that technology is no longer just cold data, but a cultural symbol with emotional resonance.
ArtTech: Turning drone formations into an "aerial canvas," breaking the boundaries of physical media.
ESG Practice: Focusing on the "Social" dimension by providing a platform for vulnerable groups to be heard, creating shared value.
IP Branding: Establishing a sustainable art-for-good brand that enhances the social impact of corporations and institutions.
Scientific Rigor: The Drone Take-off Reliability Index (DTORI)
Ensuring a "zero-error, zero-accident" performance for 1,000 drones amidst the complex sea breezes and electromagnetic interference of Victoria Harbour requires more than just passion—it requires rigorous scientific standards.
To build a solid safety defense for this "Flight of Dreams," the "Drone Take-off Reliability Index (DTORI)" once again played a pivotal role. Through in-depth analysis of meteorological data and dynamic site assessments, we utilized these stringent scientific benchmarks to ensure that every spark of creativity could flourish under the highest safety standards.

Co-Creating New Value in the Low-Altitude Economy
This collaboration with HKBU marks a significant step forward for Hong Kong in the realm of "Tech For Good." Looking ahead, X Social Group will continue to join forces with partners across all sectors to explore the infinite possibilities of the low-altitude economy and ARTOPIA, letting the light of technology illuminate the corners of society that need warmth the most.
