Warm congratulations to the Hong Kong Construction Association on the triumphant finale of its 105th anniversary celebration and the 2025 Lu Ban Festival drone spectacular! Sincere thanks to Ms. Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government, and Mr. Simon Liu President of the Hong Kong Construction Association, for their steadfast support of the low-altitude economy and large-scale drone performances.

Themed around “LuBan Festival,” the show fused technology with art: a choreographed fleet of drones re-created Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks across the night sky—the majestic Tsing Ma Bridge, the soaring Bank of China Tower, the contemporary flair of Kai Tak Sports Park - each coming alive above the city. Accompanied by classic Cantopop and live narration, the performance was both a feast for the senses and a heartfelt tribute to Hong Kong’s spirit of building and creation.

As the organiser of the drone display, Mr. Samuel Lam, CEO of X Social Group, said he was deeply honoured to take part. Most moving of all, he recalled, was watching veteran builders gaze upward as the fruits of their lifelong labour shimmered overhead; the pride and emotion in their eyes were the most powerful testament to the wisdom and contribution of generations of Hong Kong construction professionals. On this night, technology preserved tradition, and light paid homage to craftsmanship.
