The World's First “Mobile Art Museum” | Creating Hong Kong’s Next Global Cultural IP
Art Voyager 2026
"ART VOYAGER" is a world-first, flagship "Maritime Mobile Art Museum" project, scheduled for a grand launch in 2026. This project is not a singular event but aims to incubate an iconic cultural IP originating from Hong Kong that can be exported globally. Its core positioning is as a cultural flagship intended to drive Hong Kong's "Mega Event Economy."
Centered on "Art IP + Art Tech + Victoria Harbour", the project strategically integrates Victoria Harbour, transforming it into a flowing, immersive cultural feast spanning the sea, land, and air. Its core is not to "import" IP, but to "incubate" original Hong Kong local IP.
To achieve this goal, the project is jointly hosted by RMHC and HKBU, constructing a strategic closed loop of "Industry-Academia-Research-Community" to transform charitable aspirations into commercial assets.
Technologically, the project will introduce a core big data-based technical asset, the "Drone Take-off Reliability Index" to develop the "low-altitude economy," ensuring operational decisions are upgraded from "experience-based judgment" to "data-driven."
We anticipate that "ART VOYAGER" will attract over one million local citizens and high-value international tourists annually, directly stimulating Hong Kong's tourism, hotel, and retail consumption. We are committed to making it Hong Kong's most representative annual cultural calling card.
Vision
To establish “Art Voyager” as Hong Kong’s most representative annual cultural icon and a signature “floating mobile art museum” brand, becoming a must-visit cultural landmark for global travelers and reinforcing Hong Kong’s core status as a top international “City of Events” and a hub for cultural exchange between China and the world.
“Art Voyager” is not just a project—it is an answer. It answers the question of how Hong Kong, in the era of the “event economy,” can create a cultural product that captures global attention while resonating with local hearts. It demonstrates how art and technology are no longer distant concepts, but experiences that can integrate with urban landscapes and social philanthropy.
Officially launching in 2026
