ABOUT THE RACE

Celebrating the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong's Handover, The Voyages Club organized large-scale sailing events. The club successfully held the Voyages Cup (Summer) event on June 29-30, which attracted 20 top teams from the Greater Bay Area.
To commemorate the occasion, the club led a flotilla of 27 sailboats in a parade through Victoria Harbour on July 1, showcasing Hong Kong's thriving maritime economy.
Our club expresses its gratitude to the Hong Kong Government and The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) for their support in developing local sailing sports. The club aims to continue creating high-level sailing events to promote Hong Kong as the sailing capital of Asia.

The Voyages Cup, organized by HKVC, is the largest sailing race in the Greater Bay Area, featuring over 25 rounds of races per year. The highly anticipated Voyages Cup Greater Bay Area City League is a premier event in the regional sailing community, attracting top sailing talent from the 9+2 cities in the Greater Bay Area to compete at a world-class level. The Voyages Cup and the celebratory yacht parades have become annual fixtures on Hong Kong's events calendar, further cementing the city's status as a premier destination for sailing and water sports enthusiasts.

In addition to hosting competitive events, HKVC also presents the MARITIME PARADE OF LIGHTS SHOW at the Hong Kong Victoria Harbour. The aim of this event is to further establish Hong Kong as the "Sailing Capital of Asia" and a hub for innovative art and cultural technology
